Sponsor your family members to migrate to Canada
If you are 18 years or older and a citizen of Canada or a Permanent Resident or a person registered in Canada, then you can sponsor your spouse, partner or dependent children to obtain their Permanent Residency in Canada.
To be able to sponsor this Visa, you need to prove that you can support your family financially and that they would not need any kind of social support from the Canadian Government.
- You can sponsor your spouse, common law-partner or conjugal partner who is 18 years and older.
- The applicant should be married or in a legal relation with you from the past one year of applying for sponsorship. Canadian government oversees the gender of such spouse or partner.
- You need to provide proof authenticating your relationship.
- You can sponsor your dependent children who are less than 22 years of age and have no legal partner.
- Your children should be financially dependent on you.
- You need to provide documents proving that the child is your own.

- You need to first apply to become a sponsor
- Your spouse, partner or child need to apply for their permanent residency
