St.Kitts & Nevis Government came up with Citizenship by investment Program to attract foreign investments into the country. Interested qualified individuals need to make a donation or a real estate investment to qualify for the citizenship. St.Kitts & Nevis is located in the West Indies and is part of the Caribbean community and Common Market (CARICOM). Sugarcane industry was the main supply for the economy of this country. The investors get their St.Kitts & Nevis’ passport along with their citizenship which allows them to travel visa free to more than 135 countries around the world.

The St.Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program began in the year 1984 as part of the Citizenship Act, Part II Section 3(5). As per this act, the applicants will have to make a financial contribution to the country to get St.Kitts Citizenship

Eligibility

You (the applicant) should be a minimum of 18 years of age
You cannot have any criminal record
You should have a sound health condition
You should be prepared to make the following investments
if you are the main applicant then you need to pay US $ 150,000
For your spouse, an additional $25,000 needs to be paid
For any additional dependent USD $10,000 needs to be made
Else, applicants can invest in Government approved real estate developments which include residential properties on Islands, luxury villas or condominiums with a minimum value of US $ 400,000

Process and Time

You need one month to prepare the documents and the application file
The CIU officials will take 2 months to review the application and check the authentication of the documents
You get 1 month compliance time, within which you have to make your payment as earlier agreed upon.
You get your citizenship
